About Rick

Besides being a musician and producer, Rick Bedrosian is a long time movie aficionado.  He was born and raised in Delmar, NY and as a child enjoyed going to see movies like “Dr Zhivago” and “Gone With The Wind” with his mother.   As an adult, Rick sees about 120 new releases at theaters each year.  Since people were constantly seeking his opinions, Rick started writing movie reviews.  After writing hundreds of reviews, he’s now transitioned into a podcast format where he can talk about the movies he’s seen in an off-the-cuff and entertaining way.

Rick Bedrosian is also the leader and bassist of one of the country’s top Irish folk bands, Hair of the Dog.  Rick spent much of the 80's in Nashville, under contract with CBS Records, and worked with stars like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Marshall Crenshaw, and John Stewart.
